[cobirds] Jackson/Routt Counties Wed/Thurs

Hi all

 

Denise and I headed up to Jackson County Wednesday afternoon, returning Thursday afternoon. We saw some interesting birds as follows. All sightings/counts refer to Thursday except as noted. Certainly a lot more migrants around than there were in this area 9 days ago!

 

Walden reservoir and adjacent ponds (Jackson)

Common Loon 2

Snowy Egret 2 (1 on Wednesday, 2 today)

Eared Grebe, Western Grebe, American Coots, California Gulls all in the hundreds

American Pipit several – all flyovers
