Re: [cobirds] Short Eared Owls along Buckeye Rd., Times seen ??? Barrows Goldeneye yesterday at S. Platte River, Weld County

The one owl seen from CR82 appeared south of the road at about 6:05 pm. This was in the field with the hunting blinds, west of the power plant entrance (BTW, visitor overlook was still closed). The bird was very far away and landed a few times on short posts along a private roadway. It got closer as light faded. Bring a telescope.
