[cobirds] Barrow's Goldeneye, Weld County March 1st 2015

This morning during a CSU Field Ornithologists field trip, Megan Miller and I spotted a female Barrow's Goldeneye at Windsor Lake. The bird was first found yesterday.
No sign of the adult male Long-tailed Duck that I found originally...although it was seen yesterday. All the waterfowl at Windsor Lake is concentrated where the only open water is at about the middle of the lake.

Check out us on faceook "Field Ornithologists of Colorado State University"

Big thanks to Julie Barraza, Doug Kibbe, and Jeff Dawson for leading us!

(P.S. wish to god I could edit and delete posts when making an error originally...sorry about that)
