[cobirds] Mini fall out, Jefferson Co.

Around 2:30pm today I drove down Bow Mar Dr.[from north to south, near my house]. It was lightly snowing. I counted at last 24 Mountain Bluebirds. They were sitting on the Denver Water Department fence and they were feeding on the ground beneath, Pinyon Pine trees, next to the fence.  They were also flycatching.  I saw 5, Yellow-rumped Warblers  flycatching, in addition to observing Chipping Sparrows and a LATE Western Kingbird. In the Russian Olive trees I saw gobs of American Robins, and an American Goldfinch feeding on berries.

One im. Broad-tailed Hummingbird was in my yard today. It will be interesting to see if hummers disappear more in the next few days. In the past I have had  hummers through 10/5th one year, and another year they stayed through 10/13.

All above locations are in Jefferson County. I  live one block away from Denver County.

Happy Birding !
