I looked in the linden tree where the WOOD THRUSH I found there yesterday and around Lakeside Cemetery in Canon City this morning for with negative results. There were more birds there today than yesterday: mixed flock of 40-50 Yellow-rumped Warblers and Chipping Sparrows feeding together mostly on the ground and accompanied by several Western Bluebirds;at least 1 Mountain Chickadee feeding in the trees; 1 Am Robin; and at least one first-of-the-year White-crowned Sparrow (tho I'm sure I heard some yesterday). I have very good photos of the WOOD THRUSH on my Birds and Nature blog.
