[cobirds] Last Chance Rest Stop- very low water, nothing of interest on Friday

I took a run out to Last Chance a couple days ago. The small pond behind the portapotties was but a sludgy, algae covered puddle with the least water I have ever seen in the years I have visited. I didn't see a single warbler in about 40 Minutes of watching the pond and walking around. Habitat around the pond also looked somewhat knocked down.

A new fence had been put up behind the portapotties since my visits last fall, but still easy to go around to access the pond.

Anyways if you are thinking about a run out to this sometimes warbler hotspot, don't get your hopes up too high. Additionally I didn't find any flooded agricultural fields on the few side roads I drove - seemed very dry out there currently.
