There were eight Horned Grebe HOGR in breeding plumage along the western and southern edge of Lake Ladora at Rocky Mountain Arsenal NWR at 1:00 p.m. Saturday 4/14. Photos at:

Also on the lake: Mixed flock of waterfowl including Green-winged Teal, Blue-winged Teal, American Widgeon, Gadwall, Northern Shovelers, Redheads,and American Avocets.
