Re: [cobirds] Lucy’s Warbler Arapahoe County

Nathan's spot is a good spot, a fairly short walk from the ponds. You can also park at Castlewood Park across Holly from the Preserve, though it's a long (but pleasant) walk to the ponds from there.

This is the location I parked.  It worked, but I'm not sure if it is "the best" spot.

All,

Where is the best place to park at this Arapahoe County hotspot?
Thanks.

The Lucy's Wabler continues at Marjorie Perry Nature Preserve. The bird was (mostly) along the same line of shrubs as where Cole Sage first reported it. This morning, the warbler was moving a lot and was generally farther northwest along the ponds than where it was reported yesterday. It also disappeared into private property along the pond, at times.

Thanks to the unidentified birder from Arvada who told Geoff Stacks and me had heard the bird earlier this morning. Thanks to Geoff for spotting it. Thanks to Cole for reporting it.

Hi all,

I just had a Lucy's Warbler at Marjorie Perry Nature Preserve. It is the only warbler present. Seen in bushes here: (39.6211661, -104.9375563)

Good birding,
