It was great to have Megan Miller, well known Denver area birder who started volunteering at the Chatfield Station when she was about 12, out banding with us the past couple of days, preparing to go to the Western Slope where she will be running our banding stations there (Ridgway, then Grand Junction) for the next 6 weeks starting Monday. Look for her to join Julie and me with her banding reports!
Okay, the breakdown for today's 32 new birds:
Mourning Dove 1
Western Wood-pewee 2
Hammond's Flycatcher 1
Red-eyed Vireo 1 FOS
House Wren 2
Yellow Warbler 11
Townsend's Warbler 2
American Redstart 1
Wilson's Warbler 9
Clay-colored Sparrow 1
Lincoln's Sparrow 1 FOS
