in my walks through Cherry Creek State Park, I'd say I saw pretty much the "normal contingent" of meadowlarks — maybe slightly less than last year.

As far as our patch here in Franktown (Douglas) we have about the normal contingent. They sang quite a bit in June, and have tapered off since then, as usual.

Do any of you have any thoughts?
