This was posted earlier on Facebook, but I thought it should be posted here as well. We saw a leucistic red tailed hawk just outside of Crested Butte, up the road towards Mount Crested Butte. Pictures are on Facebook. We were able to watch it for a very long time. This was the the 15th and 16th. Some of the tail feathers and wing feathers were visible, however it was primarily white.
