[cobirds] Palm Warbler at Quincy Reservoir and Sabine's Gull at Arapahoe Res. (Arapahoe Co)

Unfortunately I have a sick dog, so my birding outings have been few this fall, but this evening I did about a mile of the loop at Quincey Reservoir.  Overall not super birdy (though good numbers of ducks), but I did have a confiding Palm Warbler (western).  It looks like this is a bit early, so figured it was worth reporting here.  It was in some trees near the shore line, perhaps 1/4 mile around from the parking lot.  Anyone who just likes to look at pictures can see a few of it here:  eBird Checklist - 17 Sep 2021 - Quincy Reservoir - 36 species (+2 other taxa)

Last Sunday, at Aurora Reservoir along the dam, was an adult Sabine's Gull headed into non-breeding plumage.  There have also been 4 Sanderlings along the dam, plus numerous Baird's and a few Semipalmated Sandpipers.   eBird Checklist - 12 Sep 2021 - Aurora Reservoir - 14 species (+2 other taxa)

Both of these parks require an Aurora City Park pass, or daily admission fee.
