Hey, everybody.
-- With an ornithology class from the University of Denver, I birded yesterday morning, Sat., May 4, at Fountain Creek Regional Park, El Paso County. The birds weren't exactly "dropping from the trees"--the weather was way too nice for that--but we did find a nice assortment of migrants throughout the morning, among them: broad-winged hawk, ruby-crowned kinglet, brown thrasher, Bullock oriole, northern waterthrush, Virginia warbler, myrtle warbler, Audubon warbler, and black-headed grosbeak.
