SEDGE WREN (*Eagle)

Golden-crowned Sparrow (Boulder)

Rusty Blackbird (Larimer, *Arapahoe)

CAPE MAY WARBLER (*Pueblo)

ARAPAHOE COUNTY:

---On November 13 at South Platte Reservoir, Mary Keithler, Cynthia Madsen, & David Hill reported Surf Scoter & Black Scoter. The Black Scoter was seen on Nov 20.

---On November 13 at Cherry Creek SP, Bob Righter & Tom Wilberding reported a pair of Rusty Blackbirds, which continue. 

--- On November 20 the Tuesday birders saw a Rusty Blackbird at the east edge of the Swim Beach at Cherry Creek SP.


BOULDER COUNTY:

---On November 15 at Walden Ponds, Leslie S reported a Vermilion Flycatcher, seen daily through November 20. Carl Bendorf posted a helpful map on CObirds.

---On November 13 in SW Longmont, near Airport Rd & Dry Creek Greenway, Scott Severs reported a 1st winter Blackburnian Warbler.  It continued through Nov 18 in pines near there. 

---On November 13 at CU South, Matt Hofeditz reported a Golden-crowned Sparrow south of the Parking Lot for Tennis Complex. It continued through Nov 18.

BROOMFIELD COUNTY:

---On November 19 Thomas Sather found a Palm Warbler at Parkland St. Ponds, which can be found by going south from Hwy 36 on Hwy 121 one block, then left on Uptown Ave & wind around to reach the ponds on the left.


CHAFFEE COUNTY:

---On November 18 Sally Waterhouse reported a White-winged Scoter at Sands Lake SWA; it was seen again on November 19 & 20..


DELTA COUNTY:

---On November 13 at G50 Rd Bill Harris reported 2 Tundra Swans, which continued through Nov 18.


EAGLE COUNTY:  

---On November 15 at Lake Creek Village Wetland, Eric Culbertson reported a SEDGE WREN, which has continued through November 20. There have been only two previous West Slope records on eBird!


FREMONT COUNTY:

---On November 19 Jerry DeBoer reported Yellow-bellied Sapsucker at Rouse Park. 


JEFFERSON COUNTY:

---On November 14 at Bear Creek Lake Park—Big Soda Lakes N Trail, Chuck Aid & Michael Kiessig reported 2 Black Scoters, seen again on Nov 20.

---On November 13 at South Platte Reservoir SW Bay, Cynthia Madsen and others reported Surf Scoter, Black Scoter in the bay and Palm Warbler at the edge of the parking lot. The Surf Scoter was seen on Nov 19; the Black on Nov 20.

---On November 18 Santiago Tabares reported a Palm Warbler at the South Platte Res SW Bay hotspot, "...in bushes on western side of fence western side of the reservoir on west side of road along hill where the Tropical Kingbird was seen last month."

---On November 18 Mark Chavez, Rob Raker &Frank Farrell found a Palm Warbler at Denver West Office Park.

---On November 20 Burke Angstman reported a Palm Warbler at the boat launch area at Bear Creek Lake Park.


KIOWA COUNTY:

On November 18 Steve Mlodinow reported a Mexican Duck (Anas diazi) at Lower Queens Reservoir.


LARIMER COUNTY:

---On November 15 at North Poudre #3 Reservoir Joe Mammoser reported an AMERICAN BLACK DUCK.

---On November 15 at Prospect Ponds NA Josh Bruening reported f Rusty Blackbird.

---On November 16 at Grandview Cemetery John Shenot reported a Black-and-white Warbler. It was not found on Nov 18.

---On November 18 David Wade reported an imm Yellow-bellied Sapsucker at Grandview Cemetery.


MESA COUNTY:

---On November 15 at Highline Lake SP, Kathleen McGinley, Mike Henwood, and Eileen Cunningham reported 5 Tundra Swans, seen again on Nov 17 & 18.


MONTEZUMA COUNTY:

---On November 16 at Industrial Park Pond, Brenda Wright, Coen Dexter, and Erik Hendrickson reported a Eurasian Wigeon.


OURAY COUNTY: 

---On November 19 Brenda Wright reported that the Surf Scoter present for the past two weeks at Ridgway Reservoir, continues.


PARK COUNTY:

---On November 14 at Eleven Mile SP David Tonnessen, Mark Peterson & Lisa Edwards reported 8 White-winged Scoters & 5 Black Scoters.  Joey Kellner reported that both scoter species continued in similar numbers there on Nov 18.


PUEBLO COUNTY:

---On November 15 at Pueblo City Park, Brandon Percival and Clif Smith reported juv Yellow-bellied Sapsucker near the admin building. Three were seen on Nov 20.  A Pine Warbler has not been seen there in the past few days. 

---On Nov 17 & 18 Brandon & Van Truan & others saw a CAPE MAY WARBLER in Pueblo City Park. It was seen again on Nov 19 & 20.

---On November 18 Glenn Walbek reported a Palm Warbler at the Sailboard area of Pueblo Reservoir, but alas, it has not been seen again.


WELD COUNTY:

---On November 20 Steve Mlodinow reported a Mexican Duck at Stewart's Pond, which is east of Hwy 85 on Weld CR 46.
