Hi all
I found a few research articles indicating there have been about 40-100 seen in U. S. through the years.
- https://www.westernfieldornithologists.org/archive/V25/25(3)%20p0113-p0127.pdf (100 records)
- https://sora.unm.edu/sites/default/files/journals/nab/v034n06/p00842-p00845.pdf (40 records)
Thanks

Amazing find! Apparently they are still rare on the east coast, but have them every fall or so somewhere there. Could this bird have been blown by Hurricane Florence?Ben SampsonCentennial, Co
