The owl was seen in the cavity on a sunny day from about 11:45 to 12, buy not at all at the same time on a cold, windy day. Sorry it eluded you today.

Several other birders and I checked the location next to the creek at Clear Springs Ranch where the screech owl had been reported over a span of a few hours this morning.
