[cobirds] Common Mergs and Dipper, Loveland, Larimer

24 Common Mergansers basking in Yard Waste Pond this afternoon.

American Dipper has been on the Big Thompson River here behind my house for the past 2 weeks or so.  First Dipper we have seen since the 2013 flood, so very welcome.  Hope this means the river is recovering after flood and all the mitigation work last winter.
