After searching for six hours, at 1:00 p.m. Peter Gent and I relocated the Harris's Hawk from the Running Deer parking lot on the south side of E. Prospect Road. It was soaring just east of the houses on S. Summit View Dr. and west of the frontage road for I-25.
We were able to observe it for about three minutes.
