[cobirds] Openings in the Gunnison sage-grouse viewing this weekend

We've had a few drop-outs in our Gunnison sage-grouse viewing (Saturday and Sunday viewings) this weekend. Feel free to register if you're interested.

Gunnison Sage-Grouse Viewing at Waunita Watchable Wildlife Site, Gunnison, CO
April 29, 5:00 am

Join Rocky Mountain Wild staff in seeing Gunnison sage-grouse in the wild (birds permitting). Megan, our Biologist in the Blind, will be there to provide natural history of the bird and answer questions.

Participants are responsible for their own transportation and lodging.

Tickets are $25 per person. Upon registration, you will receive correspondence regarding behavior in the blind, what to bring, and where to meet.

This free presentation is open to the public. People signed up for the viewing on April 30 are highly encouraged to attend.

Megan will talk about the biology and status of the bird and its habitat, the sagebrush sea. Erica will show her film, "Last Chance to Dance," about Gunnison sage-grouse and answer questions. And we will have our Roadshow materials, so people can take action on the spot to help protect Gunnison sage-grouse.
