[cobirds] White-throated Sparrow, CSR, El Paso Co, Sun.

Hi COBirders,

Banding at Clear Spring Ranch was interesting for about 20 minutes at dawn, but pretty slow after that. Hoping for some new arrivals with cooler air tomorrow. In the birds caught early there was a flock of White-crowned Sparrows (all adult Gambell's), with a hatch-year White-throated Sparrow following along. I usually band a couple of these every fall at CSR, but this was the first one for this year. Also of note was an adult female Orange-crowned Warbler of the more yellow-colored lutescens subspecies, from the Pacific Coast.
