[cobirds] Barr Banding Station Report, 9/5/15

A total of 38 birds today, almost half of them repeaters who are hanging around, putting on fat.  Hope to start putting up the balance of our nets tomorrow......I think it is drying out!

Here is the rundown of the 21 new today:

Dusky Flycatcher 1 (FOS)
House Wren 2 new, 1 banded 2013
Orange-crowned Warbler 1
Yellow Warbler 1
Townsend's Warbler 1
MacGillivray's Warbler 1
Wilson's Warbler 13

Open tomorrow (Sunday), then closed Monday (Labor Day), then open the balance of the week.  We are opening nets at 6:30, and will run until noon or when it gets too hot. School groups arrive about 9:30 a.m. most weekdays.  We continue to catch most of our birds in the first 2 runs, so come early!
