ADAMS COUNTY:
--On January 20, a m Barrow's Goldeneye was reported by Deardorff on the S Platte S of 88th near the water tower on the east side of the river.  On January 25, Knight reported a m Barrow's Goldeneye on the S Platte between 78th and 88th across from water tower.  On January 31, Partin reported a m Barrow's Goldeneye on the South Platte south of 88th.  On February 3, Wilberding reported 4 Barrow's Goldeneyes (2m, 2f) along the South Platte from 88th.
-- On Janaury 27, Dowell reported Thayer's Gull at Barr Lake.  On January 29, Riffe reported  2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls.
On February 4, Dowell reported 2 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 1 Iceland Gull, and 1 Thayer's Gull at Barr Lake.  On February 5, Dowell reported 1 Glaucous-winged Gull, 6 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, and 4 Thayer's Gulls at Barr Lake.  

ARAPAHOE COUNTY:
--At Aurora Reservoir on January 23, Walbek reported GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULL.  On January 26, Gwen Moore reported GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULL at Aurora Reservoir.  On January 27, Hopping reported GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULL at Aurora Reservoir.

BOULDER COUNTY:
--On January 29 at Lagerman Reservoir, Starace reported juv Thayer's Gull.
--On February 1, Adam Vesely reported Golden-crowned Sparrow at Teller Farm.

DELTA COUNTY:
--Garrison reported several Barrow's Goldeneyes along the river at Confluence Park near the boat launch on February 4.

ELBERT COUNTY:
--On February 3, Suddjian reported 2 Lapland Longspurs at CR 94 east of CR 33.  On February 3, Suddjian reported 1 Lapland Longspur on CR 29 at CR 150.

EL PASO COUNTY:
--On January 30, Chris Brobin reported ACORN WOODPECKER in the Willow Circle Neighborhood of Colorado Springs.
Please respect the privacy of homeowners.  On February 1, Brook Nelson reported ACORN WOODPECKER in the Willow Circle Neighborhood of Colorado Springs.  On February 3, Erthal reported ACORN WOODPECKER in the Willow Circle neighborhood of Colorado Springs.

JEFFERSON COUNTY:
--On February 2, Deferme reported Golden-crowned Sparrow at Red Rocks Trading Post.
--Ira Sanders reported Gray-crowned and Black Rosy-Finches coming to his front yard at 314 DeFrance Ct in Golden on December 29.  Birders are welcome to watch from the street.  On February 5, Sanders reported that Rosy-Finches returned to his yard and warned about a detour due to construction.
--On January 4, Schottler reported a Pine Warbler at Denver West Office Park near the SE corner of bldg 7. On January 28, Nick Moore reported Pine Warbler at Denver West.  On January 29, Lisa Edwards reported Pine Warbler at Denver West.  On January 31, Kilpatrick reported Pine Warbler at Denver West.

LARIMER COUNTY:
--On January 16, Cobble reported a pair of Barrow's Goldeneyes at Watson SP Wildlife Area and on January 17, Brueing reported a pair of  Barrow's Goldeneyes at Watson.  On January 25, Leatherman reported a pair of Barrow's Goldeneyes at Watson Lake.  On January 30, Wade reported a pair of Barrow's Goldeneyes at Watson Lake.

MESA COUNTY:
--2 Tundra Swans were reported by Vollmar at the Fruita section of Colorado River SP on February 2.
--2 Tundra Swans were reported by McGinley at Highline Lake on February 3.  2 Tundra Swans were reported by Henwood at Highline Lake Sp on February 4.

MONTROSE COUNTY:
--On January 17 at Otter Pond, Bill Harris reported 3 Barrow's Goldeneyes (2m, 1f).  Otter Pond is S of Montrose.  On January 24, Betty Fenton report 1 m Barrow's Goldeneye at Otter Pond.

PROWERS COUNTY:
--On January 26, Janeal Thompson reported that the female-type PURPLE FINCH returned to her feeders in Lamar. On January 28, Janeal Thompson reported that the female-type PURPLE FINCH continues to visit her feeders in Lamar.

PUEBLO COUNTY:
--On January 18, Stan Oswald found four ad Tundra Swans at Avondale Sewage Treament Ponds.  On January 19, Duane Nelson reported 4 ad Tundra Swans at the Avondale Water Treatment Ponds.  The ponds are 15 miles east of Pueblo on US 50 between mm 331 and mm 332 on the North side of the highway and just east of the bridge over the Arkansas River.  On January 31, Rutherford reported 2 Tundra Swans at Avondale Water Treatment Ponds.
--On February 1, Gwen Moore reported ICELAND GULL at Pueblo Reservoir.  On February 1, Percival reported the following at Pueblo Reservoir:  Red-throated Loon, Red-necked Grebe, Great Black-backed Gull, 2 Long-tailed Ducks, White-winged Scoter.  On January 29 the Trumpeter Swan was seen by Margie Joy at the Fish Hatchery Pond, below Pueblo Reservoir dam.  On February 2, Percival reported the following at Pueblo Reservoir:  White-winted Scoter, pair of Long-tailed Ducks, Red-throated Loon, Red-necked Grebe.
--On February 1, Mark Peterson reported a Tundra Swan on Lake Minnequa.

The DFO Field Trip for Saturday, February 7 will be a Northeastern Raptor Tour led by Joey Kellner (vireo1 AT comcast.net303-978-1748)   This trip is full.

The DFO Field Trip for Saturday, February 7 will be to Cherry Creek SP led by Mary Keithler (mkeithler AT yahoo.com303-772-1421).  Meet the leader at 0830 at West entrance of Park.  Go east from Yosemite St on Union Ave past Cherry Creek High School to west entrance.  State Parks pass or day pass required.  Will search for overwintering birds, ducks, and raptors.   Bring water and snacks and dress for Colorado weather.  

The DFO Field Trip for Sunday, February 8 will be to Wheat Ridge Greenbelt led by Kevin Corwin (kevygrudguy AT aol.com720-482-8454).  From I-70, exit 267 take Kipling south about 0.75 mile and turn right (west) on 44th Ave.  Go one mile west.  Long for entrance to Prospect Park on your left (South).  Meet just inside the park in the lot right next to prospect Lake.  Bring water and snacks.  Meet at 0900.

The DFO Field Trip for Sunday, February 8 will be to Cherry Creek SP Wetlands Loop led by Karen von Saltza (kvonsaltza AT yahoo.com303-941-4881).  Meet at Prairie Loop lot in Cherry Creek SP.  From either park entrance, follow Lake View Rd to the Prairie Loop that is located at the south rim of the reservoir.  State Parks pass or dayy pass required.  This is a half-day trip passing through many important habitats in 3 mile.  Trails could be slippery so dress accordingly.  Bring water and snacks; lunch optional.  Meet a 0900.
