[cobirds] Fox & Golden-crowned Sparrows - Red Rocks - Jeffco

Hello All,

This morning our Aubudon of Greater Denver Master Birder field trip started out with a migrant Slate-colored Fox Sparrow along with the winter resident Golden-crowned Sparrow at the feeders behind the Red Rocks Trading Post. Most years the Golden-crowned can be seen through the first week of May. Still have all the various sub-species of juncos as well.

The pair of Peregrine Falcons are back on Ship Rock (upper South Parking Lot) and are in courtship mode. The pair of Prairie Falcons are using Park Cave Rock again and it appears that the female is ready to start incubating in the next few days.
