[cobirds] re long-tailed duck at Rocky Mt Lake, denver

Hi coBirders
The original post got away from me, Sorry. She is white below to above the water, with a brown back. The head has a wide white stripe back from eye, dark cheek and dark top of head. The bill is small and dark. The tail is dark and shows russet feathers when diving. I'm using Stokes guide to Birds Western Region. The duck is usually near some Ruddy Ducks. There are also three Scaup, one may be a Greater Scaup based on a head on look as described by Luekering in Colorado Birds, Jan. 2011.
I hope someone with more experience with Long-tails and Scaup can double check my ids.
Bob canter, Denver CO
