Early this am(7am) while replacing the hummingbird solution, I noticed a female Rose-breasted Grosbeak trying to chisel sunflower seeds from the ice.  I went down to the yard and put in fresh sunflowers in the feeder.  The bird didn't flush until I was actually pouring the seeds   He flew a few feet to the nearest bush but never returned.  About an hour later, I noticed a warbler fliting in a small pine.  My initial thought was that I had a orange-crowned warbler.  Once I got my binoculars on the bird I noticed the clean white undertail coverts.  It turned out to be a Tennessee Warbler!  The yard was very active including Chipping Sparrows, Broad-tailed Hummingbird, Black-chinned Hummingbird, a possible female/imm Ruby-throated Hummingbird(photos have been sent to hummingbird expert in Arkansas when bird showed up on 10/3), lots of Lesser Goldfinches, Dark-eyed Junco(Pink-sided), Mountain Chickadees, Western Scrub Jay, and the rest of the normal backyard birds.  I'm wondering if others found the yard or other areas of the Front Range very birdy after the cold snap last night.  Unfortunately, I had to go to work shortly after seeing the Tennessee:-(
