COBirders,
This morning I birded some in Fountain Creek Regional Park. The irrigation ditch that was being used by an American Dipper no longer has water flowing into it. But, a Swamp Sparrow found the ditch puddles and mud to its liking. Near the KM18 trail marker, very close to the Widefield Water Treatment exclosure, I first heard and then watched a sometimes cooperative Winter Wren. This is the exact location where a Winter Wren has been in previous Decembers. Hopefully both birds and some of you will be in the area for the 19 December Fountain CBC.
