There is indeed one more White-winged Scoter. Joe Roller and I were both over on the western side of Marston. Joe got his scope on the third Scoter way before I did. We saw the Surf Scoter which is far out in the lake with 2 White-winged Scoters. The 3 are close together in the central part of the southern area of the lake. Thank you John. Maybe A Black Scoter will appear like one did years ago for the xmas count.
I went back to the eastern side on Bow Mar Dr. I had seen 3 total Common Loons from the west side and I was hoping I'd see the probable Pacific Loon. I saw 1, Common Loon from the east side making a total of 4, Common loons seen today at Marston. When I posted about the probable Pacific Loon a couple of days ago there were a total of 9 Loons seen that day so obviously some Loons have left. I did not see what looked like a Pacific Loon,[from 3 or 4 days ago], at Marston today.
Thanks John and Joe,
