We'll miss you, Julie! Have a good Midwestern summer and we'll see you in September. Even the cows were giving you a loud sendoff! (branding day).

Special thanks to Colin Woolley and Bird Conservancy of the Rockies for managing the banding station.

And please note that although spring banding has wrapped up, Chico is still open to birders for 2 more days (through the weekend). 

Lots of larking Cassin's Sparrows to be seen and heard!

The Last day of Banding was uneventful. Many thanks to all the volunteers and birding volunteers that helped me this spring season. an American Redstart was singing as we were closing up the nets today. A fond farewell.
