[cobirds] Chico Basin Ranch Banding Report/ Bird Conservancy of the Rockies-May 23, 2024

Today was an enjoyable day for being outside. Thirteen bird species were newly banded including one recapture. A better bird day than yesterday. A few flycatchers graced us with their presence.

Wilson's Warbler- 1
MacGillivray's Warbler- 8
Dusky Flycatcher- 1
Willow Flycatcher-2
Western Wood-pewee- 1
House Wren- 1
Lincoln's Sparrow- 1
Lazuli Bunting- 1
Yellow-breasted Chat- 1
Hermit Thrush- 3
Swainson's Thrush- 4
Gray Catbird- 1
American Robin- 1

If you are visiting the Ranch please stop by the Banding Station and share your sightings.
The banding station will be open tomorrow and Saturday this week from sunrise until @ 11 AM. 
***If wanting to visit Chico Basin, it is open to a limited number of people each day during this month. Please go to the Aiken Audubon Website to register for a morning to visit. There is a daily registration fee.
