Thanks for passing this on. He died on Feb. 6, 2023. He made so many contributions in so many ways pertaining primarily to butterflies, birds and many other areas of science. I first met him when we both worked for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. While only 3 years older than me, he could run rings around me as a scientist and biologist. Rest in piece and our thoughts are with his wife Evi and family.
