[cobirds] Re: Brown Pelican - Brush Hollow (still present 5/5)

After an hour of looking, I eventually found the BRPE sitting in a tree on the SW side. I remembered seeing them perched on the pier posts out on the west coast, so I decided to scan the trees and there it was. After a while, it stretched its wings and then flew and dove at least 3 times and was observed eating a fish. It eventually landed on the NE shoreline and took a nap.

I was on my way back to my car when I had an interesting conversation with a local fisherman who said he saw 2 Brown Pelicans here 3 days ago. I confirmed that they were brown not white and he said yes (they reminded him of pterodactyls). Only 1 has been seen and documented, but I thought it was worth mentioning about the possibility of 2 out there.
