[cobirds] Re: Adams County EURASIAN WIGEON

Well, the bird did not come back while I was there. The wind had really picked up; the ducks that left may have flown to nearby Barr Lake State Park, or another pond to huddle down. The harrier stayed for awhile, then a Bald Eagle briefly cruised over. Two other birders came while I was there, but alas, the Wigeon was gone. The AMWIs do love that pond, so I will check there again tomorrow and see if our Eurasian visitor comes back. Funny thing...I only stopped there to see if any Great-tailed Grackles were back at that location yet ..they weren't.

I got some decent photos, but a Harrier flew in, and half the ducks left, including the EUWI. Waiting to see if they will circle back, after the harrier leaves. Wind has picked up, so they may not come back for a while.
Bad photo of back of camera.
