I was there today at around 3:00pm, and took pictures of the neck and leg specifically. We thought at first that the stuff on the neck was jelly that had been knocked down to the ground earlier. However, the area around its leg does not appear to be the jelly. It did appear at times that it was favoring that leg. We all hoped that maybe it was the jelly, and it was very sticky, and bothering the bird. The owners said they would keep a close watch.Sorry, my photos aren't ready yet.Susan RosineBrightonOn Mon, May 31, 2021, 2:59 PM Adam Vesely <aves...@gmail.com> wrote:Carolyn Spidle posted photos from today at ~1:30 that show what appears to be blood around the Yellow Grosbeak's right leg. Can anyone confirm this is an injury?
