RE: [cobirds] Thrush i.d. Larimer Cty

You guys are awesome! I'm studying all these thrushes; it looks a bit like this one, a bit like that one, and a bit like a third. It never occurred to me the bird was a thrasher! I'd thought that thrashers were more southerly birds, but the CO Breeding Birds Atlas has them nesting in my area. Its been since last July that I added a new Yard Bird here and now, on this day, I add two more and a 2^nd spot of some Pelicans! I love Colorado bird-watching, you never know what will show up! PS. And not only that, I just realized the Sage thrasher is a new Lifer for me 😃

                After endless snow it warmed up a bit today here near Storm Mountain. And more birds showed up! Just before noon a flight of White pelicans flew over fast heading west. Then a little after noon I spotted a Yard Bird first Brown creeper followed soon by a thrush.
