Birders,
Whenever I post a photo to cobirds, and want it embedded in the text of my message, I save it to PowerPoint, copy it, then paste it. This shrinks the size of the image, so I don't have to wait interminably for images too big to download or send.
Here's a picture of an adult tan-striped form of White-throated Sparrow I've had at my feeder in Las Animas, Bent County CO for the past five days that I took today for just this purpose. Of course, birders are welcome to look, but I'd prefer advance notice, maybe so I can put out seed in advance of visits by birders.
The invasion of mountain and northern birds continues here in SE Colorado. Yesterday, I had a flyover Red Crossbill, my first here in a long time. This afternoon, I have a Woodhouse's Scrub-Jay visiting my feeders.
