[cobirds] Bird Conservancy of the Rockies - Barr Banding Report, October 10

A lovely day for our final Saturday of the season.  It was great to see so many birders out, enjoying the day and looking for some of the birds we'd caught in recent days.  When I left, some folks were following a small flock that included a couple of Field Sparrows, it was rumored that a Winter Wren had been heard up the road past the banding station, and a Blue-headed Vireo had been found, but not the one we banded!

For us, we had a day much like several in the past week.  We caught our second Sharp-shinned Hawk of the season and had a nice mix of Junco populations.  Here's the breakdown of the 33 new birds:
