Urling & I just observed a dozen Am. Avocets on a sand bar at the Walker Road Gravel Pit. (10 a.m.). With them a yellowlegs, 3 Mallards, and 26 Canada Geese. And across the lake, 4-5 adult Black Angus & one kid.
