Re: [cobirds] eBird question

Thanks, Doug!

Another birder privately emailed me with the same info!

Love this resource (COBirds!).

Good birding!

I believe the closest one can come to preparing a composite listing/"report" you describe is via the bar chart option under "Explore"
This option allows you to derive a bar chart from the following subregions:  the entire state, up to 15 counties, several hotspots, selected important bird areas, or "my locations".
The resulting bar chart will allow you to pull up a map of each species within the geographic region covered by the subregion(s) you have selected.
Bar charts are extremely useful when visiting a state or county you are unfamiliar with. They provide a good overview of the species likely to occur, when they are apt to be present, and where the past and current sightings have been.
They would be even more useful if they showed which species have been reported recently but to ascertain current sightings you must click on the species map symbol in the chart.

Good luck

Subject: [cobirds] eBird question

Good morning!

I have an eBird question, the answer to which I can't find on their website.

Is it possible to aggregated hotspots for a report.  In other words, there are multiple hotspots associated with Cherry Creek State Park (including the park itself being a hotspot). Is it possible to select ALL of those hotspots to generate a listing, rather than going through each one separately?

Thanks!
