[cobirds] Common yellowthroats, Adams County, I-270 and Platte River Trail

About 7:00 am today biking the Platte River Trail on the north side of I-270, I heard two common yellowthroats calling to the east of the trail.  There is a large reedy there - never saw them, but definitely heard - I love that rolling call and realizing it's a lone ranger bird!

On a different note, snowy egret numbers have been high along the Platte River.  On Monday, on a 21 mile stretch from Reynolds Landing in Arapahoe County to Clear Creek in Adams County, I saw 35!  24 of them were in two groups north and south of Hampden - I could barely count them fast enough - it was pretty awesome!

Not as many today, but still good numbers.
