Hey All,
This morning while sipping coffee I heard the unmistakeable call of a Northern Cardinal here in North Boulder. I grabbed my binoculars and tried to find the source. I had a clear view of a bright red male flying between trees in our townhouse complex and wonder if it is the same bird that has been hanging out near the Goat Trail on Sanitas and the neighborhoods of North Boulder the past few years.
I grew up with their calls in Tennessee and it was a special and rare occasion to hear one calling and see one here in Boulder.
