Re: [cobirds] Tamarack destruction

Before any birding organization goes ballistic, there should be on-ground exploration of the situation as well as the information seeking approached discussed earlier. I was at Tamarack Ranch earlier this week. I did see and hear cattle in part of the wooded area near the West Parking Area 1. I did not have an impression of any extensive damage to habitat. This needs a measured approach.

Steve, Joe, Matt, and Charles and others,
I would think an immediate letter from both the CFO and DFO should be sent regarding this grazing policy at Tamarack Ranch and sent to the leadership that oversees that area.

My two cents. I would hate to see this area permanently destroyed.
