Hello Fellow Birders,
A pair of Bullock's Orioles deigned to favor my little townhouse yard near Holly and Arapahoe with their presence today. The suet was their reason for stopping by, they fed at it several times during the afternoon. They added the orange blend to the primary colors of the House Finches and American Goldfinches, brightening a dreary day.
A pair of Chipping Sparrows have become an irregular part of the cleanup crew - gleaning tidbits on the ground dropped from the various feeders. They started showing up mid-Winter, I'm surprised they're still hanging around.
