Gull species: Several winter/early spring gulls are being seen, primarily in Pueblo, Larimer, Chaffee, Arapahoe, Kiowa and Adams Counties, e.g., Iceland (Thayer's), Glaucous, Bonaparte's, California, Ring-billed, Herring, Lesser Black-backed, and Great Black-backed Gull.

ADAMS COUNTY:
—On March 17 a Surf Scoter was reported at Rocky Mountain Arsenal NWR - Lake Ladora by Joe Chen.
—On March 17 a Red-throated Loon was reported at South Platte River McKay Rd and 100th area. First seen on March 15 by Peter Ruprecht and Chris Petrizzo.

ALAMOSA COUNTY:
—On March 17 Eastern Bluebirds were reported at Zapata Ranch (1) by Ted and Hannah Floyd and Rio Grade wetland (2) by Cody Ensanian and Kara Gallagher.

ARAPAHOE COUNTY:
—On March 13 (2) Ross's Geese were reported near West Coal Mine Ave and Platte Canyon Road by David Suddjian.
—On March 16 (2) Rusty Blackbirds were reported at Cherry Creek SP. First reported by Edward Donnan March 12.
ARCHULETA COUNTY:
—On March 16 a Trumpeter Swan was seen at Pinon Lake Reservoir by Judy James and Cedar Mcgrath.
BOULDER COUNTY:
—On March 15 a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker was reported at Boulder Community Garden by Richard Trinker.
—On March 13 a Varied Thrush was reported on Bosque Ct in Boulder. First reported on Jan 23 by Ernest Crvich.
EL PASO COUNTY:
—On March 17 a Field Sparrow continues at Red Rock Canyon Open Space.
ELBERT COUNTY:
—On March 14 a Varied Thrush was reported in Elbert, Colorado by Jackie Dunn. See Hugh Kingery post on CoBirds.
FREMONT COUNTY:
—On March 15 a Long-tailed Duck was reported at Blue Heron Ponds on Hwy 115. First reported on March 6 by Rich Miller.
HUERFANO COUNTY:
—On March 17 a Black Scoter was reported at Lathrop State Park by Cody Ensanian.
JEFFERSON COUNTY:
—On March 12 a Ross's Goose was reported at Rocky Mountain Deaf School (RMDS) and adjacent fields by Michael Lester.
—On March 15 the overwintering Fox Sparrow (Red) continues at Red Rock Trading Post.
—On March 17 (latest report) - There has been a mixed flock of Rosy Finches in Golden visiting the feeders at the home of Kirsten Witherell. To see them please text her at 720-372-0833. If she is not home you may go around the back gate. Be sure you have the correct address- 19540 W 55th Place, Golden (inside Table Rock Community). The birds have been seen most days this winter, most prominent on colder days. Approx. 35 Black Rosy-Finches reported on Feb 6.
KIOWA COUNTY:
—On March 17 a BLACK RAIL was reported at Kiowa Creek at Kiowa CR 40 by Steven Mlodinow and Sean Walters (heard only).
—On March 17 a Mew Gull was reported at Neenoshe Reservoir by Steven Mlodinow and Sean Walters.
LARIMER COUNTY:
—On March 17 a Harris's Hawk was reported near the intersecton of Ziegler and William Neal Parkway (gravel / cement plant) - see CoBirds posts.
First reported on February 21 by Robert Beauchamp.
—On March 15 (2) Sage Thrashers were reported at Running Deer and Cottonwood Hollow Natural Areas by Carrie Olson and Andy Bankert.
—On March 15 (2) Lapland Longspurs were reported at 16932 - 17109 N County Road 15 in Wellington by Nick Komar and David Wade
—On March 17 a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker that has wintered at Grandview Cemetery was seen again.

—On March 15 a Long-tailed Duck was reported at Fossil Creek Reservoir & Regional Open Space. First reported on Feb 16 by David Farmer.

—On March 13 (2) Trumpeter Swans & (2) Tundra Swans were reported at Highline Lake State Park. First reported on Feb 9 by Glenn Pearson.
MONTEZUMA COUNTY:
—On March 15 a Northern Shrike was reported at 28550 Road T.5 in Dolores by Carol Bylsma.
PARK COUNTY:
—On March 15 a Lapland Longspur was reported at 24 Main Street in Jefferson by James Mccoy.
WELD COUNTY:
—On March 16 (3) Tundra Swans were reported at Cozzens Lake. First reported on March 12 by Steven Mlodinow and Scott Somershoe.
