Saw this guy drumming on my tree this morning. Ive never seen a sepsucker out here. Its pretty open with some Ponderosa Pine. We are just south of the Russellville area in Franktown/Elizabeth, and only have a few trees. Maybe he wandered out this way from the forest just a mile away? I chased him away b/c I heard they can kill trees and I have precious few!
