[cobirds] Pitkin County Ducks

Despite a huge amount of snow on the ground, the largest golf course pond in Snowmass Village is mostly open. Here's a tally for this afternoon:
Mallard (10)
Green-winged Teal (5)
Gadwall (4)
Ring-necked Duck (6)
Lesser Scaup (1 male)
Bufflehead (1 female)
Hooded Merganser (1 female)
American Coot (2)

You can scope from one of the nearby roads, or wade through two feet of soft snow for a closer look.
