Just a quick note here to let folks know that registration for the 7th annual Yampa Valley Crane Festival opens tomorrow, Sunday, July 1, at 8am MDT. An overview of the crane festival, including info on the good work of the Colorado Crane Conservation Coalition, can be found here:

Click on the 2018 Festival tab for the truly remarkable array of workshops, programs, field trips, and other offerings at this year's crane festival. The event is based out of Steamboat Springs and Hayden, Routt County, and offers unparalleled opportunities for wildlife viewing at a ridiculously beautiful time of the year. The festival has a decidedly friendly feel about it, and the lineup of speakers and field trip leaders is impressive indeed. Hope to see you in Steamboat in a couple months!
