The territorial Black Phoebe continued singing this morning between 5:30 AM and 7 AM on both sides of the CR13 bridge over the Cache La Poudre River, straddling the border between Larimer and Weld Counties. It spent the first hour perched atop a small dead tree in Larimer, and then flew to a small dead tree in Weld, always on the south bank. Also of interest was an incessantly singing Red-eyed Vireo about a half mile west of the bridge, heard from the paved Poudre River Trail. I have requested hot spot status for both sides of the bridge via eBird.
