Several birders, were able to see a female Williamson's Sapsucker in Pueblo City Park this morning, in the pines not too far from the Administration building. Paul Hurtado spotted a Green Heron on the island on the west side of Pueblo City Park this morning too, that several of us got to see. At least Pygmy Nuthatches and one Red-breasted Nuthatch continue in Pueblo City Park as well.
After leaving Pueblo City Park, at Valco Ponds parking lot, along Hwy 96, a Broad-winged Hawk flew by. The Osprey Picnic Area in Rock Canyon, had quite a few Yellow-rumped Warbler, though I didn't find anything with them.
Afternoon highlights on the El Paso County side, of Chico Basin Ranch (fee area), was a Black-and-white Warbler at the Bell Grove (found earlier in the day) and a Gray Flycatcher that Bill Maynard found in the olives at the banding station.
