[cobirds] Peregrine Falcons - Red Rocks - Jeffco

As has been reported before, the Peregrine Falcons have returned to Red Rocks Park and are in full courtship mode. As in past years they are utilizing the back side of Ship Rock (best viewed from the far west end of the Upper South Parking Lot).
As a number of us observed them perched on Ship Rock and doing aerial displays over the weekend, it appeared that maybe we have a new male this year. After checking some photos from past years, I'm sure we have a different male this year than the past couple of years.

The male Peregrine this year sports an almost complete black hood covering the head, while in the past several years, the male has had a narrower black malar stripe with a good amount of white showing on the auricular region.
I'm not positive, but the female seems to be the same bird as the past couple of years.
