[cobirds] Last Chance, Washington Co. - few migrants

I took the long way back from Limon to pass through the famed migrant trap.

In spite of the place buzzing with bird activity, there were few birds of note. A single chipping, a Lincoln, and a couple of white-crown sparrows. Among the common grackles and blackbirds there was a pair of brown-headed cowbirds. A single western kingbird seemed early.

Btw, got to 'see' the prairie chickens dance north of Wray. Though the cattle surrounding my car prevented me from enjoying the show and getting pictures... C'est la vie!
